In the immediate future, a giant meteorite has collided with earth. All living organisms, including mankind, have been wiped off the face of the planet. The government, who had foreseen this outcome, took measures to counter the worst-case scenario. In particular was Project "7SEEDS," in which five sets of seven young men and women were carefully selected and placed into teams (Spring, Summer A, Summer B, Autumn and Winter). Each participant was then put under cryogenic sleep in hopes of preserving the continued existence of mankind. When those men and women awoke, they found themselves suddenly thrust into a cruel world. While bereft and grieved over forever losing their loved ones, they sought to find ways to survive. Thanks Netflix. I hate it.

Me: Netflix can’t continuously make bad anime
Netflix: hold my beer

Tried to do way more with the number of episodes they had then they should have. Made the whole thing both hard to follow and uninteresting.

That ending… Disappointing beyond words. I would have rated it a 5 or 6 BECAUSE of that. ‘Cept I enjoyed it a great deal till that point.

It would be one of the memorable shows in my book if they made this 24 eps instead of 12. If there’s a good follow up season, I’d rate 8/10.

The manga is superior by a longshot. Netflix seemed to be steady when it came to making original anime.

While the anime missed out a lot of content, I was totally hooked on the story, until that very unwelcomed ending.
