Individuals who can materialize weapons from their soul are called "Blazers," and they attend Kouryou Academy High School in order to harness their abilities. Each student is required to partner with another, in the hopes that one day, the pair can attain the power of Absolute Duo. Tooru Kokonoe hopes to attend this academy in order to gain power after his sister and friends were slain by a mysterious man. However, at the opening ceremony, he is forced to duel against the person sitting next to him, with the loser being expelled. As Tooru prepares to give the match his all, it is not a weapon that manifests from his soul, but a shield, an irregularity which catches the attention of a foreign student named Julie Sigtuna.

one of those: The main character is SOOOO special

Great Idea. Poor Execution. Absolute Duo? Nien. Absolute Waste. Ja!

this is kind of typical for the genre but the open and end are wonderful the story is kind o fun for a low budget harem / love story

Anime like this are the reason why the Harem genre has a bad reputation. I highly advise skipping this one.

"We, who hurt each other so terribly, will sit here licking each other's wounds. We damaged goods will each seek the other out in comfort. If you are to die tomorrow, I'm fine with my life ending then as well. But if you want to live for me for one more day,I'll go on living with you today as well. And thus begins a tale of kindred, bound by their scars. Soaked in red and written in black, a story of blood. One of which I'll never speak. Our very own, precious as it is, story of scars. And I have no intention of reciting it to anyone."
