Asta and Yuno were abandoned at the same church on the same day. Raised together as children, they came to know of the "Wizard King"—a title given to the strongest mage in the kingdom—and promised that they would compete against each other for the position of the next Wizard King. However, as they grew up, the stark difference between them became evident. While Yuno is able to wield magic with amazing power and control, Asta cannot use magic at all and desperately tries to awaken his powers by training physically. When they reach the age of 15, Yuno is bestowed a spectacular Grimoire with a four-leaf clover, while Asta receives nothing. However, soon after, Yuno is attacked by a person named Lebuty, whose main purpose is to obtain Yuno's Grimoire. Asta tries to fight Lebuty, but he is outmatched. Though without hope and on the brink of defeat, he finds the strength to continue when he hears Yuno's voice. Unleashing his inner emotions in a rage, Asta receives a five-leaf clover Grimoire, a "Black Clover" giving him enough power to defeat Lebuty. A few days later, the two friends head out into the world, both seeking the same goal—to become the Wizard King!

Encoder's Notes

We’ve got some updates!

BD encodes are now moved inside the Dual Audio folders. Apart from the usual Season batches, we added smaller, approximately 11-episode part-wise batches inside each Season sub-folder for ease of download. The directory structure is somewhat like this:

Black Clover 1080p Dual Audio
-> Season [BD Batch]
-> Season 01
----> Episode 001.mkv
----> Episode 002.mkv
----> Part [BD Sub-Batch]
----> Part 02 [WEB Sub-Batch]

Recent Subbed episodes have been batched. However, we’ll be removing Subbed encodes when they’re replaced by Dual Audio versions from time to time. We’ll also remove old Dual Audio WEB rips after they’re replaced by blu-ray encodes. So it’s gonna be like:

Eng Sub WEB -> Dual Audio WEB -> Dual Audio BD [Final]

All episodes are up to date at the time of writing, with some missing ones added and messed up audio tracks fixed. Encodes are BD till Season 3 Part 1, Episode 112. After that, it’s all WEB rips.

The BD encodes use PGS subs, which are generally considered bad, but they have better translation for this show. Someday™ dedsec might work on styled subs for this. And last but definitely not the least, as you’ve probably noticed, we updated the post’s cover image. Again.

Am I only one who likes this show?? Yeah his voice is annoying, but everything else is good.

Not sure how to feel when I see a mashup of every generic shounen trope imaginable. And my ears hurt from all that loud shouting.

You might as well just rewatch Naruto

This is why I stopped watching anime

*autistic screeching*

Same ole “Underdog-is-actually-an-overdog” story done a million times before. Peeps at the AWA premiere seemed hyped for it though.

If you can sustain the earrape from the screams of Asta, it’s a very fun anime to watch. I would still recommend it
