Most people laugh at this anime, but it’s one of the only anime with accurate medieval fighting (just ignore the magic :^) )
What blew me away was the accurate depiction of Medieval warfare in this show. This was heaven for history buffs like me.
Another sexual comedy on the surface which is anything but. Still has some ecchi moments, but the story is far deeper and very entertaining.
A seemingly typical action show ends up a really smart look at religion, the risque and the nature of God. Didn’t see it coming either.
Surprised by the accurate medieval fighting and the very happy ending
This show attacks the Catholic Church and then some. Don’t let the title & art fool you, this is a shockingly political historical drama.
Not even bad. Historical anime are still the best. It also has an ending unlike 90% of everything else.
