Miyako Arata is newly assigned to the Shinjuku Ward Office's Nighttime Regional Relations Department. Each of Tokyo's 23 wards has one such department, established to mitigate paranormal and occult-related events. Arata's special skill is the understanding of non-human speech, and the story begins with him encountering a youkai at Shinjuku Gyoen park who refers to him as the legendary Heian-era exorcist, Abe no Seimei. Getting HEAVY “Natsume’s Book of Friends” Vibes from this. Not that i mind AT ALL. Really charming, and interesting plot-wise.

Eh… It’s not that this was bad, per se, it was just so boring that I have no desire to ever finish it.

Seemed very bland and felt like it was going to be a story-per-episode kind of show

I really enjoyed this one. The cast were engaging and the stories kept me interested throughout. I only wish there was more.

It was amazing learning about all of the different “Anothers” and urban legends. I hope they do a second season to cover more “Anothers”.

Men in Bl… er… Salarymen in Blue

Its a shiny less nice looking version of Natsume
