Ranking of Kings
MyAnimeList - 7.73

The web manga centers around Bojji, a deaf, powerless prince who cannot even wield a children's sword. As the firstborn son, he strives hard and dreams of becoming the world's greatest king. However, people mutter about him behind his back as "a good-for-nothing prince" and "no way he can be king." Bojji is able to make his first ever friend, "Kage" (shadow)—a literal shadow on the ground who somehow understands Bojji well. (Kage is a survivor of the Kage assassin clan that was all but wiped out. No longer a killer, Kage now makes ends meet by stealing.) The story follows Bojji's coming-of-age as he meets various people in his life, starting with his fateful encounter with Kage. (Source: MAL News)

The show everyone will overlook this season despite its strong qualities.
This animation style!! So nostalgic!! So cute!! So Charming!! Love the western type character designing and art. And the story!! hnnngg! >w<
This is going to hit peak levels of “feels”. Im in love with the style and the storytelling. I am excited to see this through till the end!
A cute-as-heck story with charming visuals and impressive overall quality. It’s like a Ghibli movie, but without Studio Ghibli!
Just like Odd Taxi, the art style doesn’t really suit everyones taste, but story-wise always becomes the hidden gem of the season.
Ousama Ranking wears its unique charm like Bojji wears his crown; bravely, full of heart, and free of any pretension.
Despite the simplistic style, in just a couple episodes it shows great characters with multitude of layers. It is heartwarming but intense.
