The self-proclaimed mad scientist Rintarou Okabe rents out a room in a rickety old building in Akihabara, where he indulges himself in his hobby of inventing prospective "future gadgets" with fellow lab members: Mayuri Shiina, his air-headed childhood friend, and Hashida Itaru, a perverted hacker nicknamed "Daru." The three pass the time by tinkering with their most promising contraption yet, a machine dubbed the "Phone Microwave," which performs the strange function of morphing bananas into piles of green gel. Though miraculous in itself, the phenomenon doesn't provide anything concrete in Okabe's search for a scientific breakthrough; that is, until the lab members are spurred into action by a string of mysterious happenings before stumbling upon an unexpected success—the Phone Microwave can send emails to the past, altering the flow of history. Adapted from the critically acclaimed visual novel by 5pb. and Nitroplus, Steins;Gate takes Okabe through the depths of scientific theory and practicality. Forced across the diverging threads of past and present, Okabe must shoulder the burdens that come with holding the key to the realm of time.

Encoder's Notes

Steins;Gate’s banding is crazy as hell, like there is no greater torture than debanding Steins;Gate. I’ve managed to deband as far as possible in consideration to keeping other details. There was initially two release one was slightly better debanded but at the cost of detail loss. I’m not saying this encode is perfect but its not one of the bad one’s either. I’ve also fixed KayCee senpai’s uhh warm tone on this anime (which tbh looked geh).
As for the choice of subs and audio, well they are muxed from the previous encode (Senpai did a good job there). The format of audio is opus unless specified.
note –   ignore the blank folders ;-;

While that start is slow, it just gets better and better. Amazing time travel story with a great cast, this truly is one of the best anime.

Nothing makes sense, but then EVERYTHING makes sense.

The quintessential time travel anime that is filled with gelnanas, cat girls, and a microwave that controls the space time continuum

El Psy Congro

The best time travel story I have ever seen. Get through the confusing first episode, you won’t regret it.

Slow start but gets increasingly better with character development and twists and turns, a great conceptual idea on time travel. Recommend
