I though this would be a dark movie about school murders, but it’s a pleasant slice of life about two friends’ amateur detective work.

The rotoscoping is one of the best I’ve seen (at times). The main girl’s personality is easy to digest and attached to along with Alice.

Quirky and fun mystery with a unique animation style. The two lead characters are a great combination.

Surpisingly funny and well-made! Loved it from beginning to end!

Good characters and a wonderful toned down low stake story with great atmosphere. Feels like somewhere inbetween Genshiken and a Kyoani show

An amazing anime movie giving context to it’s pre-sequel. The characters are very interesting and seem incredibly human.

Masterpiece. You don’t see many anime that throw in a realistic approach to art, though there are many that take that route and do it well.
